When you come in for your ceramic coating, the first step we take is to wash your vehicle. We use a strip wash to remove any waxes or sealants that may be on the paint, so that we can get the paint bare and ready for the ceramic coating. We wash the paint safely using the two bucket wash method and a foam cannon, to ensure that we don't scratch the paint while removing any debris. This is an important step in the ceramic coating process, as it ensures that the coating will adhere properly and provide the maximum level of protection for your vehicle's paint.

During the cleaning phase as a whole, we completely detail the exterior of your vehicle. We use soft cleaning brushes, wash mitts, and more to clean the general paint, as well as get into the wheel barrells, wheel wells, front grille, emblems, and more! It's important that your vehicle is completely detailed before a ceramic coating so that we can ensure the coating properly bonds to the vehicle's surface. The last thing we want is a failed coating, which is why we completely detail the vehicle top to bottom ourselves.

Iron decontamination is the removal of micro particals and iron deposits from the paints surface. Believe it or not, every single vehicle on the road has iron particals in the paint. This can occure from driving normally. You can't actually see these particals, but if you rub your hand on the paint and it sounds like sand, thats them! Iron particals hinder the ceramic coating from properly bonding to the paint. We remove those particals before applying the ceramic coating using an iron remover, as well as the commonly known clay bar! We use both methods during our ceramic coating process to ensure the coating has the proper surface to bond to!

Do you ever see those swirl marks in the paint? This is what paint correction removes! Maybe sometimes you don't see them, because it really does take a trained eye. But these micro scratches and swirls in the paint actually hinder your paints shine! We remove these scratches and swirls through paint correction. Whether this be a 1-step, 2-step, or 3-step paint correction! Now what does that mean exactly? Each step is a deeper level of "cut" into the paint. This removes just a couple microns (very small) of clear coat which in return removes those scratches and swirls and gives the car a nice shine! Each step removes more and more swirling. A 1-step will remove the least, while a 3-step will remove the most. We always play it by ear for each vehicle to see what that vehicle in particular needs!

Polishing before a ceramic coating is very important!! But why? A ceramic coating is a semi-permanet form of protection, so you want to make sure what the coating is protecting looks good!
